Voluntary Commitment Payment to SMEs

Within the framework of the XIV edition of the APEC SME Summit, organized by ComexPeru with the support of the SME Association of Peru, we announced a new business practice by which different associates and allies take on a voluntary commitment to pay their SME suppliers within a maximum of 30 days. This commitment will boost the recovery and sustainability of the SMEs, improving their cash flows.

Some companies have already implemented it, and before the end of the year, all of them will have established procedures that guarantee payment to their SME suppliers in a term of up to 30 days. This will make the entrepreneurial sector more dynamic and encourage small companies to join business chains that generate better opportunities for all and more inclusive growth.
